Ironborn Mode

Ironborn Mode is an optional character mode in that restricts a player to a strict self-found playstyle. Encumbered by many restrictions, Ironborn characters may only pick up and make use of items that they have looted themselves.

Enabling Ironborn Mode

Ironborn Mode can only be selected when creating a character. The selection is permanent and can not be changed after the character is created.

Ironborn is currently only available in Zezenia Season 9 game worlds. It will become generally available on all Game Worlds after the season ends.

Restrictions

• Ironborn players can not trade with other players.
• Ironborn players can only buy a small subset of items from shops:
  • Potions
  • Arrows
  • Foods
  • Fishing rods
  • Bags, Parcels, and Backpacks
  • Decorative items
• Ironborn players can only buy a small subset of items from the market:
  • Items with the "Premium" type, such as Premium Cards.
• Ironborn players can not pick up items from the ground or the contents of any container unless they were dropped by themself. Other players may pick up items dropped by Ironborn players. Items moved on the ground by another player can still be retrieved, but once an item has been picked up by another player, it can no longer be reclaimed by its Ironborn owner, even if it is dropped again.
  • Outfit scrolls and pet scrolls are exempt.
• Ironborn players can not consume any items on the ground.
• Ironborn players can not receive any parcels from other players.
• Others may not drop any items in an Ironborn player's house.
• Ironborn players may not enter other players houses.
• Warning: If the player does not have enough bag space when buying items from npc and it falls on the ground, the ironborn player can no longer pick up or use the bought items!

Exemptions

• Ironborn players can always pick up and move barrels.
