Intro

In order to complete this quest, your party needs seven characters, one of each subclass.

You will need the combined spell "Purification", which is cast by any mage after being supported by any warrior or ranger, so make sure those spells are prepared. The combined spell Haunted Cage (Warlock supports the Barbarian) is also needed. Check the in-game library for their magic level requirements ond more informations.

To progress in this quest, the party must kill Azure Fire Beings, Acidic Fire Beings and Demonic Fire Beings on the correct tiles (explained later). This is easier if rangers do not have any damage buffs (individual or precision) active, so they don’t accidentally kill Fire Beings that are not being targeted.

The quest has 3 separate paths that follow the same logic. Each path contains several trials that must be completed before the party can reunite. If a party member dies while on one of theses vocations paths, that path needs to be completed again.

After the trials, the entire party is teleported to the same room, where additional trials must be completed in order to access the reward. From this point on, if anyone dies everybody must restart the quest. Having Home Teleport Scrolls might be handy in case someone dies.

Along the way, you will find stone portals and wooden portals. Stone portals indicate progression — clicking one will send the party to the next section of the quest. Wooden portals are used to exit the quest. There are messages nearby indicating that the portal is used to leave.

Start



The quest can be started by following this path from the Costa Lluvia boat until reaching a stone portal:




Right-click the portal to enter the quest:


Once inside, follow the path until exiting at the black circle. Each subclass must follow its designated path. Some classes go together, while others go alone:

Green Circle: Barbarian
Yellow Circle: Paladin + Marksman + Rogue
Blue Circle: Shaman + Warlock + Pyromancer

First Path: The Barbarian Trials

Start at the green circle and jump to the Fire Being through the windows using Blind Rush:



There are 3 trials that must be completed along this path. Follow the arrows below to reach each one:

Dark blue arrows: First trial

Dark green arrows: Second trial

Orange-ish arrows: Third trial

Cyan arrows: Path to finish this section

Each completed trial removes one stone from the brick wall marker on the map, allowing the Barbarian to reach the end of the path (black circle):


Tip: In some locations, the Barbarian can skip a jump by targeting the Fire Being two squares ahead:

First Trial

The Barbarian must kill 2 Acidic Fire Beings on the green tiles, then pull the lever. The tiles are marked as targets in the image below, and the Acidic Fire Beings are represented as fire:


The Barbarian will also encounter a couple of Nocturnes. The Barbarian must kill them as needed, then defeat the Acidic Fire Beings on the correct tiles and pull the lever to progress.

If a Fire Being dies on the wrong tile, the Barbarian must wait for it to respawn before trying again.

Second Trial

This time, the Barbarian must kill 2 Demonic Fire Beings on the correct tiles:


The Barbarian will also encounter a couple of Demons here. As before, the Barbarian must kill the Demonic Fire Beings on the correct tiles and pull the lever to progress.

Third Trial

In the final trial, the Barbarian must kill 2 Azure Fire Beings on the correct tiles:


The Barbarian will also encounter a couple of Demon Lords here. As before, the Barbarian must kill the Azure Fire Beings on the correct tiles and pull the lever to progress.


After completing all three trials, follow the cyan arrows to reach the path leading to the end of the Barbarian trials.
The Barbarian must then wait for the other paths to be completed before proceeding.

Second Path:The Paladin, Marksman and Rogue Trials

Start by going down on the yellow circle. In this room, the PMR (Paladin, Marksman and Rogue) will find a few colored tiles and some Azure Fire Beings, Acidic Fire Beings and Demonic Fire Beings. The PMR must kill them at the corresponding tile, positon themselves at the correct tiles and pull the lever to the left. The Fire Beings are located south from the tiles and lever:


The PMR can confirm their position by looking at or hovering over the blackboards on the wall:

First Trial

After pulling the lever the PMR will be teleported to a narrow dungeon filled with all kind of monsters and the usual Azure Fire Beings, Acidic Fire Beings and Demonic Fire Beings. You are teleported to the cross marker, thee needed Fire Beings are on the fire markers, the tiles + lever is at the target and the portal is the way to the next trial:


As you can see, there's a fire being right at the start. It is a Demonic Fire Being that needs to be carried all the way to the tiles. You can do that or kill it and come back after it has respawned, but be aware that the other monsters will also be respawned.


After all the tiles are filled, pull the lever. A stone that was blocking the portal will dissapear:


Enter the portal to reach the Second Trial.

Second Trial

On this trial, there is also a Fire Being right at the beginning. This one is a Acidic Fire Being that need to be taken to the tiles too.


Make your way to tiles and kill the Fire Beings on the corresponding ones:


After all the tiles are filled, pull the lever. A stone that was blocking the portal will dissapear:


Enter the portal to reach the last room. There are no monsters here, the PMR must follow the path to reach their final position before the party is back together again. They must way there until everyone else is finished. Be aware that there is a Wooden Portal in this room that is an exit.

Third Path: The Mages Trials

Start by going down on the blue circle. In this room, the Mages will find a few colored tiles and a Azure Fire Being, a Acidic Fire Being and a Demonic Fire Being, all locked behind a fire wall. The Mages must remove the fire wall using the spell Purification, after being supported by one of the Warriors or Rangers kill them at the corresponding tile as the others, positon themselves at the correct tiles and pull the lever to the left. The Fire Beings are located south from the tiles and lever.
